FAQ
Q: Do I need a camera for this challenge?
A: Preferably, yes. In this challenge, you’ll learn how to navigate your camera’s settings, helping you feel more confident and comfortable using it. You don’t need the latest or most advanced camera—even a beginner model like the Canon Rebel T7 will work perfectly!
Q: What kind of lights do I need and how many?
A: You can do A LOT with just one light (and a white foam board!). I recommend something like the Godox SL60W if you're in the market for one. In this challenge, I will show you how to use mainly one-light setups.
Q: I don't have a ton of props (or backdrops) yet, is that okay?
You don’t need a lot of props or backdrops to create beautiful images. I do recommend starting with a few backdrops for a clean, professional look, but you don’t need a ton—especially when it comes to props. In this challenge, you’ll learn how to choose the best backdrops and props (when needed) while keeping things simple and still achieving amazing results.
Q: I'm very new to product photography, can I still join?
A: Absolutely! You’ll learn straightforward techniques to capture stunning product photos step by step, making it perfect for beginners.
Q: Where will the challenge be hosted?
A: This challenge will be hosted inside my Product Photography Hub, and you’ll get access as soon as you sign up! You’ll receive an email with links and instructions to access the hub.
Q: Will the challenge be live?
A: Nope! I have people from all over the world joining so I wanted everyone to have a chance to join in the fun, so each day, a new challenge video will be posted in the Hub for you to access!
Q: Will the challenge be available after it's over?
A: No. This challenge will only be available afterwards inside my paid membership: The Product Photography Academy. So make sure you're prepared to pay attention! :)
